DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grain Grading
• Microbiology Techniques
• Preparation of media samples & solutions
• Physical testing of protein, moisture, and ash
• Data entry on computer
• Operate Various lab equipment
• Properly maintain, clean, and disinfect lab equipment
• Assist and support other Lab Technicians
• Must be able to work both as a team and independently
• Able to work on a weekend rotation
• Be available for overtime and cover other shifts if necessary
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICTIONS:

• Understanding of basic math, chemistry, and biology
• Computer skills (Windows)
• Follow lab procedures, managing time and lab tests
• An understanding of lab and plant safety
• An associate degree in technical field, and at least one year experience in laboratory work preferred.
